Reflection
My favorite project was the Sgraffito plates. I liked this the most because I liked my image a lot, I really like how it turned out, and because I thought that scratching away the paint was very relaxing in some way.
When I first started making my pinch pots I had a lot of difficulty with making the sides all even and making the top even. I over came this because on my next pinch pot I was much more careful and I made sure I didn't over pinch and it turned out a lot nicer.
I learned many things in ceramics, I learned that it is not easy but with patience you can make any piece look like how you want it. I learned how to make pinch pots, coil pots, and use the slab roller to make pots and plates. My overall experience in this class was great because I had fun and learned a lot of new techniques about making clay.
